Ride for Raja

Mandeep Singh Cheema Charitable Foundation (MSCCF) is a non-profit organization supporting vulnerable youth. We aim to improve youth’s lives, by supporting them in positive social activities and post-secondary education.

In September 2012, we lost a beautiful soul, Mandeep Singh Cheema aka ‘Raja’ in a tragic motorcycle accident.  Our family was devastated by the loss. We have chosen to celebrate our dear Raja’s life every day since and each year we have this wonderful “Ride for Raja” is his memory.

Raja’s personality was fun-loving, caring, and giving. He would drop everything to help someone in need and we knew that we had to keep this part of him alive. Through the MSCCF, we keep Raja’s memory alive while helping youth in the foster care system with educational needs and aspirations. We partnered with Children’s Aid Foundation Ontario several years ago. With the support of Children’s Aid Foundation Ontario, we support many youth. CAF-ON is a registered charity dedicated to raising funds for urgently needed programs focused on the advancement of mental health and wellness, poverty relief, post-secondary education, skills development, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.  They fill the gaps between what the government is able to provide and what vulnerable young people need to move confidently forward.

We wanted to honour Raja’s love for riding, and we started ‘Ride for Raja’. Our organization is 100% volunteer run, and we are grateful to all our supporters. It is because of you we keep growing and have created such a strong platform for so many others to join.
